A Song Called Love . . .

  I love your heart . . .
the song you sing reminds me
that we are but fragments of the stars. . .
fragile dust which has filtered
through fire and storm
leaving us divided
and traumatized . . .
each one alone,
incomplete . . .
yet all somehow connected . . .
a long unbreakable thread

Look up and see your wings . . .
seize them from the eternal abyss . . .
and fly away . . .
along the road Forever . . .
find your joy in the smallest flower .  .
a tunnel to life where miniscule creatures
tremble beneath your eye . ..
I believe your tears will melt the wax,
of feathers . . . so tenderly applied . .
so violently sundered . .
your eyes like rays of molten sunshine . . .
a gold which drifts away,
lost within the clouds dispersed
over a troubled sea . . .
your heartbeat will thrill
the mountains to the ground . .
your bones as white as snow . . .
frosty shards bite into the depths . .
hard is the pain . .

Look deep to find the dreams
of souls . . . the same flows
in fathomless swirling waters . . .
danger . . .
beware, for angels dare not tread here . . .
the song is from the human heart . .
to heal and build the thread
of life . ..  and death . . .
and hope . .. a complication which
seals forgiveness
within the marrow of the soul . . .
and calls it love . .. .

Opening with an OH-SO romantic piano . . .

I immediately visualized a couple,
with eyes only for each other  . .
dining over candle-light . . .
a dreamy atmosphere . . .
a full heart-felt passion . . . .
ahhhh . . .
the music takes me to this place of love and romance .  .

Like Heartache

Cresting the tidal wave of sunlight
ending in points
of color
blue and yellow
contrasting
golden filters
reflecting
yesterday's
         butterfly . .
a habit of watching
rewarded . .

cresting happiness
joy
which though
so ephemeral
as effervescent
as a bubble
a moment where wings
lift the spirit
which crumbles
so easily crushed
against the harsh
embrace of
planet
and universe
with all its glory
and beauty

red stones in the road
like drops of blood
burnished and turned
dusty
each left
like a sign
to the wanderer
the harvest is contentment
fleshy fruits
hang low
to entice
the hungry soul
like becoming
fingers
like fish in trees
like patterns against the blue
like many hued clouds
bursting with dew . ..

Like music
      in the wind . .
the birds
       on the wing
a sky so blue
a sun so warm . . .
I dream of innocence
for in the end

when all the stars
are gone:
the darkness
remains . . .

  Krzysztof Malinowski, "Catharsis"

This was just what I wanted to hear . . . Uplifting music, with a clear sound; conducive to smiles and relaxation . . wings that lift me up as I listen . . . a breath of fresh air relieving pent-up pain . . . sorrow and grief flow away into an endless streaming breeze . . . Music has a way of touching the soul's deepest feelings . .. reflecting and inspiring the mind of the heart. This album is a tale . .. a tale of darkness and pain . . . a tale of escape and desire . . . . a tale of death and re-birth . . .

to tears . . . tender to the ears
it also makes me smile . .. .

Piano

I have been putting together a piano play list for the purpose of calming the students in my computer lab. Lately my students are taking a heavy series of tests. These children are so tense, and sometimes miserable, trying to figure answers to things they they struggle with at the best of times. These piano pieces I have chosen are all calming and yet uplifting. They have good spirit to their soulful expressions and I wanted to share that here. . .  but first; today I was listening to my iPod and the first album that came up on my "Play all albums" list was this one. It was immediately added to my playlist . . .. . .  I am always so impressed by the quality of work given to us to use and listen to on Jamendo.

Accarezza il vento
by Simone Cilio

treasure every second
as time goes by
each speeding second .. ..
something will die. . .
fall into the soil and become
one with the earth . . .
disappear from the grasp
if held too close . . .
a wayward balloon . ..
lost from the touch
lost from the view . ..

sweetly the melodies
flow by on strings of
a momentary connection
higher and higher

each note that gallops by
swallows time and disappears
like mist in the midday sun . . .

the music holds my beating heart. . .
I hear the hammering of its song
against my resounding bones . . .

I listen breathlessly to the music .. ..
while it becomes part of my essence
as it flows through my blood . ..
nourishing me . . .
the air around is imbued
with the incense of the song
like a dream . . . it flutters by
insubstantial …. a butterfly
against the flame of emotion . . .

to capture such beauty . .
is lost to the soul . . .
like a bubble holding the
dreams of a child. . . simple
shimmering messengers . ..
flying up to the heavens
to the angel's waiting hands . .
***************************************************

music played like this is compassionate
and humble
excusing itself from the room
as it dissipates from the air waves
leaving tender memories
of such beautiful melodies
emotional and full
of loving desire . ..

Piano . . . today and forever . . .

PIANO - Some of the most beautiful piano music, in the world, is shared on Jamendo . . . inspiring, graceful, astonishing, gorgeous compositions . . . stage worthy and celestial. Peaceful tranquility will follow your listening as you absorb the music created by these gifted and talented artists.  Many of these musicians have already been exposed on this blog . . . and will continue to harmonize with my soul for a long time . . . but today I want to share a few more . .

I am looking for piano music today, but this also includes some of the other keyboarding compositions that fall into the genre of piano/ambient . . .

Some I feel inspired to write a poetic response which is included at the end of the album, or a short review . . .

The piano has a place . . .
un-denied,
so softly she shines
and rolls like a mighty river
the power beneath the surface . . .
a ripple upon the glassy surface,

protective yet passionate,
expressive yet mute,
a star uncovered by a little cloud . . .
and then tucked away again,
weaving in and out like
a glowing ballerina . . .

each note
a strike against my heart . . .
uplifted or down . . .
feelings most profound  . . .
I hear and recognize emotions
most human . . . yet
melodies sung by an angel
through each stroke of a key along
the ledge of a stairway
flying up higher
yet higher still,
I dance along each note . . .
melodies to carry me.

****************************************

I want to see those hands fly across those keys . . .

it releases a flood of profound emotion within the heart of the listener.

Pure perfection . . .
*******************************
And one of my favorite pianists and composers on Jamendo - this piece was already reviewed by Orangeupurple :

(this song is not pure piano . . . but it gives me great joy . . .)

Beauty in the Darkness . . .
02/01/11
This song is very compelling - "Heart of Darkness" is a thought of night . . . deep and dark and subtle . . . . . giving brightness to the smallest of points of light and strengthening awareness of the smallness of humanity in the universe . . . the limits of our own narrow spaces . . . and here in the darkness we see the hugeness of the Universe. . . and we find our vulnerability here . . . we are vulnerable to evil but also to hope . . . and thus we come to know our humanity best in the darkness . . . and here we also recognize our own darkness. . . and feeling our beating hearts we gather together . . to dance by the fire . . .

Very beautiful music . . .

WOW

Strikingly magic . . . those flying fingers thrill the listener . .
the heart beats more strongly
the soul is more exhilarated . . .

The listener feels uplifted and exalted . . .

The pianist has a profound talent . . . that enlightens the listener . . .
This music is filling my classroom with power and peace . .
beauty and an uplifting of the spirit . . . perfection . .
are those human hands that run along the piano keys like that?
or are they the song of an angelic voice? Perhaps a touch of both
are giving me the chills, I am experiencing, at the beauty expressed
through my computer's speakers . . . but no . . . I think it is magic . . .
the shine and glow of magic flows over me . . . as I listen . . .
 **************************************************************
loveliness that transcends . . .

Here is another musician who left his beautiful album
on Jamendo . . .
a treasure chest of heart touching music,
to flow across the ether
and fill our
dark moods with understanding,
and love . . . and with a gorgeous, heavenly peace
completes the listener's day

and then this musician never returned?
Perhaps in another guise . . .
I hope . . .
These are piano and instrumental compositions
with a positive and moving outlook,
uplifting and meaningful . . .
and many of these tunes brought me to tears .  .  .

***************************************************************************
Oh . . be still my heart:

Classic beauty . .
relaxing and flowing,
as a quiet walk
in an early morning,
at peace
with a gentle world. . . .
and wings to lift
above the pastel risen sun,
the air so cool
and full of glowing drops
of precious rainbows . . .
reflecting the thoughts
of a wandering mind  . .
a beautiful atmosphere full
of exceptional music . . .
the piano drives me up
and up . . . forever higher . . .
I am touched
I am so very moved by the
beauty of this music . . .
and its spiritual reflection
. . . the music so dense with angels' wings. . .
so capable of absorbing
all of my tears.

Solo Piano from Jamendo

Truly an inspiring album . . . this piano music is so beautiful and uplifting. I can only imagine, that from the musician's perspective, the world will be a better place . . . after that momentary point in our future, which we cannot foresee . . . that singularity . . ..

Does he see a bright place for what has become of humanity? Will there be peace, clean air and water . .  will there be a place for everyone . . . no despair, no war? Will there still be tigers and delicate frogs living free in the jungles of the night?  Will there still be that butterfly in the deep south, creating winds to move the souls behind those metallic masks?

Or perhaps it will be a dark dawn, for it may lead to our utter demise, or a form of demolition, a world so polluted and ransacked and left to sort itself out . . our future kin spreading out amongst the stars . .

What kind of creature will we become? Will we follow our dreams and be  able to genetically alter ourselves, so as to sprout wings and fly? That is my vision . . and that is how this piano music made me feel . ..

Although I love piano so much I am always searching for it, here on Jamendo . .. I rarely find piano music that makes me feel that I am flying . . . like this . . . such ease in the playing and with a gorgeously smooth flow that it has the strength and charisma to pull me along in its wake .
...................................

Also, check out this musician's other offerings. He is able to migrate from one style of music to another and still manages to stick to his theme of futuristic expectations and visions of interplanetary travel . .

Music for the Soul

Yachats Oregon Coast 2010

Ambient Music: Once, not long ago, a friend of mine was listening with me to some of Van Syla's music, which I had put onto a video. This friend said it made her feel relaxed, as if she had been to a spa. I have never been to a spa, but it sounds nice and I understood what she meant by feeling relaxed. My day is complex and stressful and it is so nice to find music that I can trust, to play into the atmosphere of my room . . . let flow like a cooling river of healing balm over my soul, and feel calmed without having any startling nuances to alarm me or anyone else in my room. And there is always someone.

This music is like that: "DamacTron EG Ov" by Equanthom

Piano Music: I like to listen to compassionate piano music. By that, I mean the fingers flow over the keys .. .. like clouds over mountains, racing and pausing and pulsing with emotion.  These hands are sure of themselves and speak like a poet of the passions of life . . . love and grief . . . and moments of peace and tranquility. Fingers that understand the sorrows of the heart and follow the contours of a dream . . . long left behind, and a trail of a tear as it is brushed into the rivulets of mud as the rain comes streaming down.

This artist, Stefano Mocini, has touched my heart so deeply with his piano poetry and his "Music is a dream . . ."
