and a flow of peaceful harmony that brought the tears to my eyes . . Truly a gorgeous album.

BEYOND AWESOME . . THIS GUY SHOULD BE AT THE TOP OF THE CHARTS WHEREVER HIS MUSIC IS PLAYED . . . I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS ALBUM . . . THIS GUY HAS REAL TALENT AT HIS FINGERTIPS AND HIS VOCAL CHORDS AND AN ABILITY TO MAKE ME SMILE AND DANCE AND SING ALONG WITH HIM ON TOP OF ALL THAT .. . ..

OMG - but I LOVE THIS!!!! It takes me back to the lovely vintage records and the music of the past. and . . . to top it off there is excellent guitar playing, harmonica, lyrics, perfection in compositions and that most melty, honey sweet, gorgeously deep vocal of Markus . . . . . this guy is as good or better than most famous singers . . . for example, Johnny Cash . . . sometimes sounding a little like Elvis Presley . . . if he was on stage I would be screaming and crying like a little girl . . .

and YES I agree with you that the music HAD to sound old timey . . . scratchy records , the softness of the recordings . . . wow-0-wow!

I want to hear more! I have never been a fan of country western style music BUT I AM a fan of this guy!!! Plus this music is not only country western but also blues, swing, jazzy and rocknroll . . . done to perfection!

Markus Schmitt - you are a true artist . . . reaching out to ENTERTAIN the listeners and you have succeeded! I wish I could give you more than 10 stars . . .

EDIT: The song, "DorisDayVint" had me cracking up and just about rolling on the floor . . why aren't all women like the doris day of the movies? LOL . . . give me a fur coat, pearls and some high heels and you've got me mopping the floors for you . . . LOL - that was so good . .

Another EDIT: YOU ARE FROM GERMANY and your singing is perfection . . . you don't have that German accent as you sing in an American Southern Drawl . . .
