Today's Love . . .

In the Louvre, Paris
I will put today's links to the album shares on Jamendo, here, as I listen to them . . . one at a time . . .

Review for: "Tribute to classicals" by Dom the Bear

The album cover is so pretty and eye catching . . .  the classical interpretations were gorgeous and lightly played with a slight sparkle and uplift. They appealed to me on this dark, dreary winter's day . . .

Definitely for fans of classical and anyone else who needs a little respite from the daily ho-hum . . .

Now for a little Mellow-Rock: "Stretto al Sole" by Fabio D'Annunzio
This album takes me back through nearly lost time - to the delightful days of bluesy/jazzy rock . . .  guitar play that burns through the souls of the listener . . . transporting them back to their youth and returning them to those happy times at concerts in an endless love-filled summer . . . the song "Jimi," being one such example . . .and along with the musicians stunning vocals we are given  detailed electric guitar . . . with some real soul attached. . . . and we fly . . . day and night passes and we are still dancing with endless energy, retrieved from the positive vibes given through this sunny guitar and singer . . .

These songs remind me of the days when anything was possible and life was endless . . . rock concerts were always times of really good feelings, joy, friendship, sharing the music, food, dance . . . peace, love and good-will. The best stuff for an old hippie like me . . . I swear I could smell the grass, being smashed into the mud beneath my feet . . . and that lovely, nearly incense-like aroma . . . grass smoke wafting across our faces . . .

Review: "Genesi" by Damota

This album is encrusted with the gems of semi-dreamy dance . . . and some very creative keyboarding . . .along with excellent mixes of layers, instruments, unique sounds and experimental rhythmical flows. I certainly hope to hear more from this skilled and fresh new musician . . . The music is dynamic, always interesting and very pleasant just to listen to or dance with. . .  or use to energize the low ebb of the afternoon with this powerful album.

Expanding ones existence through music . . . propelling oneself through the atmosphere to the stars via the forces of music alone . . .there is so much power in sound . . . manipulate a few notes . . . applying heart, soul, tears and creativity . . .  share the outcome with friends and new acquaintances and you have created magical forces which empower the listeners . . . exactly the way you wish . . .
